Robert Lubstein started his enterprise in 1902 in Kaiser's Germany. During first half of XX century EREL® was making caps for Prussian Army, Reichswehr, Paramilitary organizations, all Wehrmach branches - Heer, Luftwaffe, Kriegsmarine, Nazi Party and all branches of SS. In 1940 EREL® patented special ventilated sweat-band, used since only in their caps.
