Replica of steel wire for German M35/M40/M42 helmets. The wire allowed for attaching local vegetation as a camouflage element. Wires of this type were a non-standard (not regulation) element of soldiers equipment. The wire was attached to the helmet by using two bendable wires. The helmet visible in the photo is not the subject of the offer, it concerns only the mesh itself.
