FOR REENACTMENT
Cockades with the IFJ monogram were the official symbol of allegiance to Emperor Franz Joseph I, who reigned from 1848 to 1916. They were worn by soldiers of the Hungarian Army (Honvéd). In 1917, they were replaced by cockades with the letter K, in honor of Emperor Charles I of Habsburg, who reigned from 1916 to 1918.
