Perfect reproduction of Great War tightening straps called Marschriemen. It was not a standard item of equipment, but it was very popular private-purchase items among the German soldiers. Such straps were used with Marschstiefel/ Knobebecher boots and were used to tighten the boots to fit it better to the wearer’s feet. Made of natural vegetable tanned leather from Polish tannery, dyed black, metal fittings. Adjustable strap with buckle and holes. Highly recommended - made in Poland by Nestof®!
