A replica of the "Kaiserliche Marine" officer's cap in black, with a naval cockade. The main body is made of black wool (cloth). The cap rim is trimmed with black grosgrain ribbon. The sweatband is made of fine leather, with the grain dyed brown. On the front is a richly embroidered gold oak leaf wreath surrounding the Reich's tricolor cockade (black, white, and red). Above the wreath is the Imperial Crown (Kaiserkrone). The cap's peak is characteristic of the naval style, made of black patent leather. A leather chin strap (black) is attached above the peak and secured with two metal buttons with an anchor motif.
