A replica of American M1917 uniform trousers. Made of thick woolen drill (serge) in khaki color, which was intended to provide camouflage and durability in trench conditions. The upper part of the trousers is lined with a thin cotton fabric. The trousers are high-waisted and feature belt loops. They feature two slightly slanted front pockets, two rear welt pockets, and a small watch pocket above the right front pocket. The trousers feature significantly flared thighs (breeches) and tapered calves, making it easier to put on puttees. They feature additional reinforcements (patches) on the knees level.

The American M1917 uniform system was introduced in 1917 as a response to military needs that arose with the United States' entry into the war. The uniform was a simplified version of the earlier M1912 pattern adapted for wartime mass production.
