A replica of a Polish model 1917 sabre knot for a wz. 1917 saber, designed for officers. The loop is made of silver bullion with two crimson stripes. Two Polish eagles wearing crowns on crimson shields are embroidered in silver thread on both sides of the mount. The oval-shaped tassel has a red shaft and is closed at the bottom. Width of the ribbon: 1.5 cm; length of the loop: approx. 40 cm; length of the tassel: approx. 8.5 cm.

This type of sabre knot was worn with the wz. 1917 saber (also known as the "Radziwiłłówka" in the Polish cavalry), and was used by officers of the Second Polish Republic. A saber knot is a decorative strap/band, finished with a fringe, which was attached to the hilt of a saber and served as a practical element (it helped to hold the weapon better) and a decorative one.
