High quality replica of late war British bayonet No. 5. The bayonet and scabbard are made of oxidised steel, the scabbard has an edge made of brass. The bayonet has a cover made of wood, which is mounted on the handle with two screws. Scabbard painted black. The bayonet is fully usable, suitable for mounting on a rifle. The bayonet and scabbard do not have any markings. No. 5 bayonets were designed for use by airborne troops and troops fighting in Europe, however they were also used during fights in Asia with No. 5 Mk I rifles.
