A perfect replica of the British Army wool field beret. Manufactured by the renowned QMI company. The General Army Beret (commonly called the "General Service Cap") was introduced in September 1943, replacing previously used side caps. Previously, berets if used, were the domain only of armored, airborne and special forces. The outer part was made of the same wool fabric as used in the Battledress uniforms, while the inside was sewn with a light cotton lining.
