FOR REENACTMENT?

The M44 goggles (known as the Sun, Wind, and Dust Goggles) are an iconic model of protective goggles used by the American military, introduced in 1944 at the end of World War II. They were primarily used by vehicle crews, airport maintenance personnel, and sailors. They were also used during the Korean and Vietnam Wars. With subsequent minor modifications, the SWD goggles survived until the 1980s and 1990s, participating in subsequent military operations in Grenada, Panama, and Iraq, among others.
