FOR REENACTMENT?
The Claymore mine bag – officially known as the M7 Bandoleer – was made of olive-drab, waterproof canvas and was used to carry the "M18A1 Apers" directional mine and its accessories. The mine was stored in one pocket, while the other held accessories such as a primer, test and trigger assembly, and a spool of trigger cable. After detonating the mine, soldiers in Vietnam often used the bags to carry additional magazines, grenades, and canteens. Bags of this form were used by the US military from the 1960s until the early 1990s.
