The TL-122 flashlight was a standard 90-degree, battery-powered flashlight adopted by the U.S. Army just before World War II, based on the Eveready No. 2697 "Boy Scout" flashlight design. It was manufactured by various subcontractors and came in four main versions (A, B, C, and D), differing in their materials of construction (brass, steel, or plastic) and the addition of a storage compartment for a spare bulb and filters. The presented French model TL-122D-Fr is closest to the American model TL-122D, which entered service at the end of 1944.
