Original Thompson 5-chamber olive-coloured magazine pouch for 20-round magazines. The pouch is made of olive cotton canvas with blackened metal fasteners. Version for wearing on a belt. Standard equipment of American soldiers from the 1940s and 1950s, occasionally used in the 1960s. Version without manufacturer's markings, from Lend Lease production for the USSR. There may be versions with cotton elements in different shades within one magazine pouch.
