A perfectly crafted replica of the Maschinenpistole 40 submachine gun. This is a full-size and functional replica, made of metal (primarily a ZnAl alloy) with a stock and pistol grip panels made of a material imitating Bakelite. Each copy has its own individual numbers and military acceptance markings (Waffenamt). In the replica there is posibility to reload the bolt and fire a dry shot. The mechanisms, operating in the same manner as the original, only enhance the feeling of holding a real weapon in your hands. The replica has a removable, functional magazine into which non-combat cartridges can be loaded (included in the set). The loaded magazine can be attached to the replica and load cartridge in to chamber, and the cartridge can later be removed from the replica's chamber. The replica can be disassembled. The set includes: the replica, the magazine, a box with ten non-combat ammunition cartridges, an instruction manual, a leather carrying sling, and a cardboard box – all integral parts of the product. Japanese production - replicas are made by the renowned Shoei company. The replicas are devoid of any firearm characteristics as defined by the Polish Weapons and Ammunition Act, and can be purchased without a permit.

The MP 40 "Maschinenpistole 40" is a German 9 mm submachine gun chambered for the 9×19 mm Parabellum cartridge, produced during World War II. Popularly known as the Schmeisser, although in reality, German designer Hugo Schmeisser created only the magazine. The weapon was developed in 1939 by the HWA (Heereswaffenamt, German for Army Armament Office) as a modernization and successor to the MP 38. It entered production in 1940. It is estimated that between 700,000 and 1.1 million of these weapons were produced by 1944.
