FOR REENACTMENT?
The German Sports Badge was established as a civilian decoration in 1912 and has been awarded from 1913 to the present day. Over the years, the name of the organization and the appearance of the badge have changed. The swastika was added shortly after the NSDAP came to power. A version with the letters DRL was established in 1935, replacing the previous version with the DRA, and remained in use until the end of the war. The last fitness tests at which this version of the badge was awarded took place in 1944.
