A replica of the World War II British Combined Operations badge. The shield-shaped patch is embroidered with crimson thread on a dark blue (Navy Blue) felt backing. Inside the shield is one of the most iconic motifs of World War II – the combined emblem of the three armed forces:
- A flying eagle (at the top): symbolizes the Royal Air Force and air support.
- A Thompson submachine gun (in the center): symbolizes the Army Commandos, firepower, and close combat.
- An anchor (in the background of the rifle): symbolizes the Royal Navy and amphibious operations.
Combined Operations Headquarters was established during World War II to be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing combined operations (military actions requiring the cooperation of various branches of the armed forces) in areas occupied by the Third Reich.
