FOR REENACTMENT?
The British Commando Cap (most commonly known as the Cap Comforter) is an iconic wool military cap used by British Commandos during World War II. It features a unique, dual-purpose design, as it is actually a long, knitted tube with one end sewn shut, which can be worn as both a hat and a scarf. Early versions were light khaki. A darker olive drab variant was introduced in 1943.
