This is a high-quality reproduction of the American military Benrus DTU-2A/P Vietnam War-era service watch, manufactured by the renowned Ailager® brand. Each watch features a 25 cm olive green nylon wrist strap fastened with spring bars and finished with a traditional silver metal buckle on one end. The watch face is housed in an oxidized stainless steel case. The dial back is embossed with the production date, specification number, batch number, order number, and manufacturer's name. The black watch face is framed around the edge with easy-to-read white numerals using a 24-hour numeral system. The main hour and minute hands are luminous, making them easy to read in low-light conditions. The watch is battery-powered. The watch is packaged in an elegant brown Ailager® gift box.

This was one of the first watches issued in accordance with the new military standard MIL-W-3818B, introduced by the US government. The requirement was for an "accurate, affordable, replaceable, and maintenance-free watch, made of plastic or metal, to be issued to infantry and other ground forces." This model was manufactured by BENRUS for the US military from 1964 to 1969.
