FOR REENACTMENT?
This type of ammo strips was used along with the Breda machine guns Mod. 37 since 1937 by the Royal Italian Army. These weapons also entered the armament of the Wehrmacht and the Waffen SS after the disarmament of Italian Army units in 1943.
