A replica of the American M1938 map case. This version does not include a map insert. It is made of cotton fabric in the OD3 color scheme. The flap closes with two Lift-Dot snaps. Inside, the main compartment is divided into three smaller compartments. The back of the bag is reinforced, while the front features a small pocket with a sewn-in folded strap for writing utensils. A detachable shoulder strap is included.

These map cases were used by the US Army during World War II. The M-1938 map case was standard equipment for officers and non-commissioned officers in the US Army, used to store and protect maps and navigational aids.
