These types of patches were worn by members of the BKA (Belarusian Homeland Defense): a Belarusian collaborationist armed formation operating from late February 1944 to January 1945. Established with the consent of the German authorities by the Belarusian Central Council in the territory of the General District of Belarus, its core consisted of the Belarusian Self-Defense and the Belarusian Auxiliary Police.
